Investors: Rondol reaches £2M order intake in 2011

Rondol Technology is proud to announce that the order intake target of £2M - € 2.4M or $ 3.2M - for 2011 was reached. The figures represents an increase in incoming orders by more than 50% compared to 2010 when the total order intake over the year was £1.3M.

The target could be reached thanks to our 10mm Twin Screw Extruder which in a full GMP Pharma version has become a popular piece of research equipment. Pharmaceutical hot melt extrusion opens the field for solid dispersions as a solution for poorly soluble drugs and Rondol’s machine allows precise and efficient trials with a very small quantity of material and the lowest rate of waste.

Over the past two years Rondol had done considerable development work to improve the flexibility and versatility of this machine. As a result, a large range of upstream and downstream solutions are available for the 10mm system. Rondol is also offering the PASS simulation software as a tool to facilitate and optimize upscaling from Microlab to larger industrial extruders.

For 2012 Rondol aims to maintain the overall growth rate.
