Polymeric blends in bone scaffolds

The Rondol vertical twin screw microextruder was used in research on new advanced polymeric blends with nano-hydroxyapatite intended to overcome limitations in the current treatment of bone disorders.

New compositions of printed bone scaffolds provide increase biocompatibility and support better bone cell attachment and proliferation.
