Recycled Polylactic Acid (PLA)

Recycling plastics is a crucial solution to environmental and resource availability problems. In this study on PLA, yerba mate nanoparticles were added to improve the performance and suitability of recycled PLA for applications such as food packaging.

The Rondol Vertical All-In-One microextruder was used to process the PLA pellets.
