AAPS 2025 - Rondol showcases its Vertical Extruder

As every year, The Rondol team was proud to participate in AAPS PharmSci 360 2025in San Antonio, Texas. 

The team showcased the 10.5mm version of its GMP Vertical Hot Melt Extruder (https://www.rondol.com/items/vertical-extruder), demonstrating how the company’s advanced Hot Melt Extrusion (HME) platform supports API development, drug formulation, process optimization, and the transition toward scalable manufacturing.

With only 25% of the footprint compared with the horizontal version Rondol's compact vertical design minimizes space requirements while offering proven versatility, an easy-to-clean barrel with removable liners, and flexible screw and die configurations for diverse R&D needs. With precise temperature control across eight independent zones and integrated feeding management, the system ensures gentle and consistent processing, even for most fragile materials. Available in different sizes (10.5mm - 21mm - 42mm), it provides a scalable path from R&D to pilot line and large scale manufacturing.

Rondol was also pleased to co-present a scientific poster with its partner Corealis Pharma Inc., highlighting collaborative work on Lumefantrine solubility enhancement using HME.
