Vertical extrusion for research on battery applications with the University of Chicago

In January 2025 we celebrated the successful installation of Rondol Group 1st Vertical Line for Research on Solid State Battery applications in the Laboratory for Energy Storage and Conversion (LESC) at the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago, the reference US lab in the field of Solid State Batteries, and ran thin film trials successfully with Arkema polymers.

This marks the second vertical line installed in North America in a single week, with the installation of a line at Corealis Pharma - read more about it here.
